Waiting to do a meta? Now that is love!
I have to say, during the pandemic, I convinced my two kids, who are in their 20's and live elsewhere, to get on a Friday evening (or weekend) Zoom with me each week with the excuse of doing the grid and solving the meta. Best idea I've had in years. It certainly makes waiting to work on the meta totally worth it.

Though if they are "busy" and make me wait until late Saturday, or even Sunday..... :x

Whilst in the process, enlightenment occured as if clouds drifted from blocking the sunlight. I feel so lucky to be a part of this group!
I will be there at 4:30 to support other muggle friends.
I dropped out of the labor force some years back owing to my refusal/inability to use Excel.
Funny. I'm in the opposite position (sort of). I'm about to retire, after almost 35 years with the same company, partly because my company decided to discourage, tightly control, and eliminate when possible, all spreadsheets. Over the last 20+ years, a part of my job involved maintaining several Excel templates I created, one of which underwriters throughout the company would use to originate and maintain a ~$25B portfolio of construction and term loans. So this was perfect timing for me to sail off into the sunset.

One of the enjoyable parts of being the cruise director is reading the comments here this week - a combination of creativity, humor, wisdom, and friendship. Thanks to you all for making my job so much fun.

And a welcome to our newest muggle - Al Laubenstein. As always great to have more muggles

A very clever challenge from Mr. Shenk this week. So far we have 11 on the ship and 125 on the shore.

Enjoying Isaac's company while the track their NCAA brackets are

While on the shore are

Don and Cynthia

Good luck to all winning the mug and stay safe
Good one, Bob! :)

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

Anagrams can be a nonstarter for some or the straw that broke the camel's back for others or a showstopper for others still.
Yet, I believe I found an escape clause that leads to resolution.
REDACTED

On shore. Martini please, shaken not stirred.

Captain Bob--Add me to the ship's list! Getting nowhere fast on this and not holding much hope. Looks like my mini streak is coming to an end.

Still hanging with Isaac--I'm working my way through his March Madness themed cocktails. Lately, I've been SUnning on the beach by this point in the weekend but my chances of hitting the beach are getting sliMMEr by the minute. But I've still got time to soRT this all out. If I get desperate, I might resort to using an ANAGram creator with every stinking grid answER!

Now it’s my turn to buy you a drink at the tiki bar. May I suggest a Black-eyed Susan?
