Finished up the working day by tapping on my keyboard. Printed & settled in with the puzzle.
Rushed to the AHA moment, but couldn't find my ballet slippers. So quick-stepped my way ashore.
Page 5 a new personal best.

On the beach. What fun it is to set about seeking the solution, trying to be as cleverly methodical as possible, only to happen to notice something relevant that has absolutely nothing to do with the clever methodicality being applied.

GOL (groan out loud). Thanks Hunter.HunterX wrote: Thu Feb 24, 2022 5:35 pmYour knees bark? They must be dog-tired. At least you still aren't aboard the bark you sailed in on. Maybe you'll find a bark-a-lounger on shore someplace? Then you can bark an order to the cabana boy.Al Sisti wrote: Thu Feb 24, 2022 4:11 pm It’s late afternoon. Oh no... After doing Dr. Tom's puzzle this week, I can't stop punning, or whatever that is I just wrote...
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.

On shore. Got stuck down one self-induced rabbit hole, and couldn't shake it out of my brain. Punishable by treadmill time. Once my sentence was completed, I came back to it and there it is. Cab for me, burger for Maggie! Good luck to everyone.

Beach is already crowded! My better half is away so will stick to seltzer.

Al Sisti wrote: Thu Feb 24, 2022 4:11 pm It’s late afternoon. My knees bark as I crawl my way up the sand; freshly revealed by the outgoing tide. The sun embraces me, the gulls circle lazily, and a soft breeze tousles the six hairs on my head. I glance out to the sea. “You shall not claim me; not today,” I silently exclaim as I rise, “For I am home.” I turn my back to the angry water, and to the ship, and to the cries of those who will soon join me. And I reach out a pruny hand for an ice-cold Guinness.

Pretty sure it took longer for @Al Sisti to write this than it did for him to solve the puzzle

Ashore on Thursday night, which is rare. I'll celebrate now with an old fashioned. Good luck Muggles!

What does this even mean?
Anyway
My solving partner says this is easy
BUT
I am not seeing it
So put me at the ship’s bar with Isaac, Bob
If I have him to myself won’t be the first time.
Discouraging, though, when all signs seem to be flashing GO.
