New here today too! I've been doing the puzzle for a while but never tried the contest. I "took the class" and it seemed like something that I could do. Today's puzzle was nothing like I expected though - so hard! The zoom group was wonderful and I'm excited to try again next week.

Nudged to the answer (and therefore the shore). But I'm calling this one a miss for me, thereby resetting my current streak. 
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

On the ship with Isaac. Daughter and I did the grid and tossed around some ideas. Nothing seemed to work. Will look at it again tomorrow. But I'm not confident given all the comments above. Just seeing the times that page 1 posts were made was disheartening.
