Shows That Count
.
Heeeeerrrreee’s Monday. (For younger solvers, that’s an ancient television reference.)
I don’t remember how or when the idea for this puzzle came to me, but I’m sure it was not while I was watching TV. I would guess that it’s not high on the meta-Mohs scale (i.e., not all that hard), but then the one thing I share with Matt Gaffney is that we both sometimes are pretty bad judges of the difficulty of our puzzles.
Thanks to @Abide for editorial suggestions and corrections. And much thanks to @Joe Ross, who figured out exactly how I managed to mess up the Excel file. And then corrected it so I didn't have to.
The answer is a TV show.

Off the couch! Nice one, Jay.

Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

Off the Couch...nice one Jay.
42A is forever cemented in my brain....when I was young my family did a cross country trip and dad brought 1 cassette tape. The 2 songs I'll forever remember are 42A and the chiropractors song, cause they were played for the 5 weeks we were on that trip.

Off the couch. Enjoyed it. Thanks for the puzzle Jay.
If I’ve solved and you need a nudge, you can PM me. Happy to pay it forward.

I showed I could count and left the couch, thanks for the puzzle and the very clever fill.

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.

Great stuff as always. Had the mechanism before finishing the grid, just needed to backsolve one letter. Fun one, thanks.
