This week's WSJ contest is titled OPPOSITE DAY By Mike Shenk

The answer to this week’s contest crossword is a five-letter word appearing in the clues.

For the neurotic muggle scorekeepers, the statistics from last week were not announced this week. Hopefully we will get them to satisfy our record keeping obsession.

The next three weeks your cruise director will be a cruise participant and hopefully be able to have access to the metas from the rivers of Europe. @Wendy Walker will be filling in for me and doing her normal excellent job.
