Ahoy Muggles!

"Man Overboard!" - two words that no ship's captain ever wants to hear - unless, of course, they're the title of meta puzzle! :D

I got the idea for this one while listening to "A Storm Too Soon" - a true story of disaster, survival, and daring rescue on the high seas by Michael J. Tougias. I highly recommend giving it a read or a listen sometime, but not before you've solved this meta! So strap on your life preservers and attach your safety harnesses because this one could get a little bumpy. I just hope this meta will not leave you lost at sea!

The meta answer is a famous person.

P.S. - Easter is coming, so be sure to look for Easter eggs during your solve. At last count there were 8.

Off the couch, using the easter eggs!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

OTC. Thanks, Cap'n! (No time for the Easter egg hunt, but I'm sure it'd be fun.)

Off the couch! Either on page one or close to it. Who needs Matt or Mike anyway 😀?! A great muggle meta!

Off the couch, entirely through the Easter Eggs. Still a bit puzzled about what the actual mechanism is.

Off the Couch. I had to pick between two answers. I picked the right one or maybe both were acceptable.

Thanks for solving, @lbray53. Yes, I'll accept both "First and Last Name" and "Last Name" only.

Solved, albeit via a shortcut that failed to appreciate the full elegance. :)

Gotta love the Captain! Great meta, but I have to say I never saw the mechanism other than getting it through the other information in the puzzle. But usual fun cluing and great construction. The captain is able to get more stuff in a puzzle than anyone I know' his Moderator thanks puzzle stills stands as the all time, most chock full, fun to solve metas around.

So off the couch and back to the Pandora
