Hmm.... apparently a joke I made thinking it'd be weird... turned out to be what was actually going on.
Still haven't solved any of these three but.... well, there's something interesting. Something like 3/2 of the steps out of 12 steps.....

Erratum: in 42D the blank is in the wrong place in the poem (not meta related). Thanks Claudia!

A catless bag!
Though awaiting confirmation.
This whole “Let’s Get Meta!” thing today has been fun.

Well, I think I have something that goes well with this piece.
But work to be done still. Looking at you, Ginger!
Who else had this reaction this AM?

There are three puzzles all called "Let's get meta" with the same prompt "The answer to the meta is appropriately meta".Dplass wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 11:38 amWait there are 3 MEOWS this week??
I haven't solved any of these (they all seem to lack what I call a "trigger") but I made a joke about them. Turned out my joke was actually true.

Solved one of the trio, finished all of the grids, but am still trying to figure out what a couple of answers mean. They don't seem to make sense in context so I am assuming they are part of the meta.
I can see this being a week I need NUDGES big time because, well because...

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Cat's out! These are great! I also got @benchen71's, but still stuck on @MikeyG's.

Seems we should have a meta-topic on the board to discuss this collection together. For myself, I have grids filled and one meta answered, but while noodling the remaining pieces let me pause to tip my cap to the exceptional and fun cluing in these puzzles. Lots of chuckles and groans along the way. Kudos!

I’m told I have one part of the solution, so I’m not sure where that leaves the cat - half in the bag? I’ve solved 1.5 of the 2 Let’s Get Meta puzzles I’ve tried so far - clever and fun challenges!

The cat is out of the bag but I needed help.
It all came together in the end. I think.

2.5 parts done, but still struggling on the solution to this one.
Interesting trifecta.
