Didn't need nudge one (figured that much on my own) but... still at sea.
Okay... I'm going to need nudge two. I see one thing. A lot... but unless my vocabulary is completely short I think I need to see something else.
Edit......
And now I need Nudge 3.

I should have gotten this much sooner. I had the correct metanism and answer, I just didn't recognize it as such. Thanks to @CPJohnson for setting me straight.
Thanks, Wendy.
Thanks, Wendy.

I finally SSSolved it. I was busy watching Nick Taylor drop a 72 foot putt on the fourth playoff hole to win the Canadian Open.

Yes, I was very happy for that Canadian golfer. Hasn't happened since 1954.Bob cruise director wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 9:30 pm I finally SSSolved it. I was busy watching Nick Taylor drop a 72 foot putt on the fourth playoff hole to win the Canadian Open.

Argh! I'm such a dope. I just assumed.....
Well thanks to a nudge from Cinny (more like an "uh, you have done a meta before, haven't you") I finally figured out ... that I actually had to do something.
...s...fizzle... ss....s... olved.
EDIT: This was a really nice puzzle. Very well contructed.
EDIT2: The morning while making coffee I had an epiphany which may serve as nudge to the nudges, a meta-nudge as it were:

Wow, three puzzles in 2 weeks....I think a puzzle monster has been created.
Fun one, no nudges needed, and yes I have used this answer in both locations.
Thanks for the puzzle Wendy and great job.

I think I have! But absolutely nothing yet.
This might be medium like Tuesday afternoon. Will try it later, perhaps with some savory nudges.
