"Pack Up Your Troubles" by Wendy Walker
I got the idea for this puzzle when I drove past the Kennett Square Golf & Country Club on my way home from running errands (in the photo: "a testy opener, Number 1 begins the descent into the golf course. A severely sloping fairway steers a well-placed tee shot away from the left-hand fairway bunker, 245 yards from the tee, and onto a level spot on the short grass"). I THINK I put my groceries in the fridge before firing up Crosshare, but I'm not entirely sure. Here's hoping you find this a pleasant SSSolve. Nudges at noon! And a relevant prize will go to a randomly selected solver!
Thanks to Abide, Sisti (two-thirds of Clark E. Tripe!) and Joe Ross for your help.

SSSolved! Hope the groceries survived, but the puzzle was definitely worth it!

Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Sssolved, but I was actually dragged by the nose (ouch!). Sometimes my brain just takes a vacation. Thanks, Wendy!

I am looking forward to another great meta by @Wendy Walker
Golf courses and airports - two subjects I know well. And both locations where I have lost golf balls and found many others.
If you think that golf balls are just white, here is a sample of others that I have found while looking for my own. And someone paid for each and every one of these and it was not me.

Well done, Wendy! I am so impressed at how quickly you've taken to meta construction - you're even finding inspirations in your daily routine.

Sssolved nudge-lessly, but not at my airport:)
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.
(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Nice grid, Wendy! We are nowhere yet on the meta, but we enjoyed the grid over lunch today!

Sssolved (with a slight push from KayW). Thanks for the puzzle Wendy -- saw absolutely nothing for a while, and then suddenly it dawned on me. Fun one (once I saw it)!
