Man this is getting old, week after week I think I see what I have to do but can't interpret what I have to do next. All this with the rest of the Muggle world apparently seeing exactly what they need to.....sigh.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.

Ashore? I feel like it's correct and I'm just overthinking things.
Edit: I was not overthinking things! Thanks to the zoom room, went back to my original path and got there. Officially ashore.

I'm on the same shore as all the folks who've found something that's clearly part of it and leads to a good answer but still wonder if there's more to it I'm missing.
I again wish the WSJ provided difficulty ratings. If this were labeled 1-2*s, I'd be sure that's it. If it were 4*, I'd know there was more. (Though it still has to be the answer as you can't have an intermediate step give you something that fits the prompt perfectly.)

If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.
(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Marion, Jill and I are safely on shore - the Kansas City contingent is enjoying the beach alternative to the real 30 degree wintry mess!

I got started today and just finished the grid. I am hoping to reach the shore as quickly as others did!

Thanks to the Zoomers for a nudge. I was able to float safely to shore.
And thanks Don for relating your recent experience on Baker Street.

In the bar with Isaac and a few anonymous Muggles. I have an idea what to focus on but unsure how to interpret it. Will try it on paper to see if that helps. If not, a good night's sleep is Plan B.
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.
