1. Puzzle #24 recap
Puzzle #24 answer: WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Correct entries: 47 (new record!)
About as Level 1 as it gets, at least in terms of the meta, though I'm still told my clues were maybe too clever by half, haha. We see the three main options, and the two main hosts, of Wheel of Fortune, the answer to our meta.
2. This is June's mini-meta as part of the "Summer of Solves," which I'll still try to do, though we'll see what happens! This could go either way, but I'm thinking this will be a Level 2, per chance a Level 2.5.
Rules: You get 100 base points for a correct solve, plus 1 point for everyone you "beat" in terms of time when the contest ends, minus 1 point for each incorrect submission first.
25. Four Square
The one-word answer to the meta is what I hope you find this puzzle.
Good luck, and may all your solves be beautiful!

Solved! Fun, as always.
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

I like a contest where the rules evolve
So I went from 2 shiny points to 100 base points?

The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

I am sitting at -1 right now.

I think the conversion is 1 shiny point = 100 base points, haha.
Sorry to evolve the rules midstream, but it was early enough, I think!

once I stop twitching from the groan worthy puns, I'll be able to start working on the Meta.

I guess I've put this one one on the way way back burner, so I'll ask for nudges. I usually like Mikey G's puzzles very much so I don't want to give up on it totally.

Just how I was feeling, @woozy.
Sending you a PM.
Kept coming back to look and finally got there, sitting on the porch with a cup of double mocha. Good thing as I was getting grumpy!

Oh, dear. I don't want to be that guy.... but there is one thing that throws everything out the window, I'm sorry to say.

Hmmm, I wonder what that could be!
I don't think this was as tenuous as some others I've made, but the way I was seeing it, the title, coupled with the 11-letter themer going across, gives us a foothold. You could make an argument the Crosshare/blog graphic does a bit as well! Maybe it's Level 3, to be fair.
Obviously, though, the solver's view matters profoundly, and perhaps the mini-mechanism was not as spelled out as it could have been, and I take responsibility for that.
Also, I'm doing Nudge Wednesdays on these every week, so stay tuned for those if you want some extra assistance.

Got it (crosshare confirmed).
Nudges just solidified what I was thinking all along. My brain is working slow this week.
