Best luck with both! If you are celebrating WNGD, be careful as to what shakes loose. And don't forget the sunblockdebbierudy wrote: Sat May 07, 2022 1:00 pm I'm also still with Isaac. I'll go dig in the garden and see if anything shakes loose.

Thanks for the tip! Gotta love the interlinking variety puzzles. And until I saw your post, I thought I was going to get stuff done this weekend. Phew! Glad that's not going to happen.BarbaraK wrote: Fri May 06, 2022 11:22 am WSJ has a new variety puzzle pack out at https://www.wsjplus.com/offers/puzzles-money-2022
It's subscribers only. Just downloaded it - now to find some time to solve them.
Still stuck in quarantine anyway. The CDC says we're not allowed to do any work or get things done during this time, right?
Right....?

I came in from a few hours of digging in the garden with a fresh perspective, and there it was. I am happily and confidently ashore!
Time to make May Wine, a family tradition inherited from my mom (probably her German grandfather): a jug of dry-ish white wine (I use pinot grigio or chablis), lots of sliced strawberries and freshly snipped sweet woodruff, and let it sit overnight - well, most of it.

My annual trip to shore! I’ll have a double bourbon on the rocks, please.

I have tried to explain to Mrs. B the “Aha Moment”. Then I noticed an advertisement in WSJ for – of all things – a cruise line. I’m no messaging expert, but the picture and caption do seem to capture the essence of it.

I'm ashore, thanks to the excellent nudging of a pair of Muggle friends. Not enough to give it away; just enough to get the right path in sight. Thank you, D and C! Although I won't be able to submit, I learned something new from this meta. Wishing all you Muggle moms a very happy Mother's Day! I'm thinking G&T please.

Spent a couple of days staring at it, then after sampling my California Grape Ale, it all fell into place! Ashore.

Late night jaunt to shore! The Mom in our house will be thrilled we are not thinking about the meta on her day tomorrow. Love you, Mom.

Set it aside for a couple days, looked at it again tonight, and now I'm ashore with the rest of y'all/yinz.
I don't have anything clever to say, but if I did, it would go here.

Tough grid for me, no luck on the meta so far, hoping for a Lucky Strike come-from-behind finish! What are the odds?
