Ashore in a jif. It took me longer to look up the challenge clue (which didnt show up with the puzzle this week) than to solve the meta.

On shore! Relieved after last week's requiring nudges. Didn't feel completely at sea for the first time ever. What an odd feeling!

Strawberry smoothies please!

definitely one of the quickest trips to shore i’ve ever made this week. can’t say i hate it when we’re thrown these occasional bones tbh, gotta keep that precarious morale buoyed somehow

Ashore. On a Friday. So used to being on the ship all weekend. What to do? 🤔

funny, i kind of breezed through the grid this week after (if i’m remembering correctly) several of the metas during the last two months or so proved extra grid-side challenging for me; more so than i feel like i’m used to, in any case. BUT the joke was back on me when i was only able to get to the meta answer through realizing that oh, wait, so in fact some tweaks were apparently going to be necessary to fix the apparent flurry of ever-so-slight misspellings i’d ahem *a-ppar-ent-ly* left in my wake as i “breezed through” the grid 😂

I'm at a lonely bar with Isaac. I had an immediate idea but can't quite make it work. And Isaac makes good drinks. Off to Boston this morning. Maybe it will come to me on the train

🏝on shore🏝

Did the grid yesterday but then had to put it down for church for Maundy Thursday service. Had an idea for the mechanism. Picked it up today and saw the mechanism right away! Clever construction! Fun solve!
Happy Easter to all my fellow muggles!🐇

On shore last night around 9. Took about an hour to get there, including grid solving time. Impressive mechanism.

Ashore this morning. Will settle for an ice cold soda, today. Two more days of Lent and I’ll be free to imbibe something more…. “spirited”.
