On the beach and back from Duke's.

A nice Chardonnay with the sushi this evening.

You can get it. The grid took me longer than usual too.
Aw you can't give up that quickly. It will be worth the effort - just pretend it's an Easter egg hunt with a golden egg at the end.

TBH I got so soured by the grid that my heart's just not in it.

On a roll. The eagle eyed wife played a big role in getting us ashore. Red wine!

I understand the feeling. This particular puzzle did not affect me that way. But I’ve seen some where I enjoyed the grid so little that I didn’t care about the meta.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

A tougher grid than usual, but then saw the meta almost as soon as I looked at the filled grid and started putting all the normal hints together. I agree that to be able to construct a puzzle like this is impressive!!

Finished the grid. Grumbled and was starting to put the puzzle down on the coffee table when the ☁️ ☁️ parted and there it was!
I think it will be fun to spend the night ashore.
Late night s’mores, anyone?

Ashore - good weekend for a quick ride to shore/Thursday solve. Expecting a crowded beach. Agree with others about the remarkable construction.

Ashore! How on Earth does he construct these??

So happy to be on ANY page with a solved puzzle, especially after last week's debacle. Enjoyed an Haute Medoc tonight. It's not especially warm here (not like North Dakota) so not sure of tomorrow's cocktail -- maybe a Quill? (Negroni with an absinthe rinse).

To those muggles celebrating Easter: A joyous and happy Easter to you all.
And to those celebrating Passover: Chag Pessach Sameach

Stay safe all.

Sticking to tart cherry juice and soda w/ lemon while I await the end of Lent. 😉
