Well, I messed up that copy, but it pointed out that this werkend’s dates are palindromes!

Lately I’ve had trouble finishing the grid.

Took the item with the appropriate name I picked up yesterday out on its maiden voyage today. A few miles (Back and Forth!) on the Cocohatchee River. Here are a couple of photos of wildlife along the way. A white ibis and a heron.

I solved this, after spending time looking for palindromes. I noted that a number of answers could be made into palindromes with a single letter substitution (LEVER -> LEVEL, LYE -> EYE, ROM -> MOM, etc.), so I spent some time working that. Then I started looking for palindrome-like fragments, then finally noticed the palindromic pairs in the theme answers.

But I was highly irritated that the answer was "PALINDROME", since it was so OBVIOUS!

It took a good night’s rest for me to realize that two letters needed to be extracted from between the three letter pairs for them to be truly palindromic.

I've always been in awe of your talent, but you've truly outdone yourself! BRAVO!

We got the silver medal with 270 on the shore.

Has anyone gotten the wordle in 2?
3 is the best I have done…

Was away all weekend and just got to the chat this morning. I love Wordle...my friend in England and I do it every day and compare how we have done and how we got to the answer.

I have gotten the answer in 2 three times. I only can find one screenshot I took of my path. I went from DREAM to SHARD. I have always wondered if anyone picked the word on their first try?

I credit my "luck" to my years as a teacher and having to decipher what a student meant to write with only 2 correct letters in the word!
