Enjoying the crisp mountain air and holding down the fort with the 2 youngest little ones while others are out on the mountain aka Mammoth mountain, our favorite family retreat.

Glad this week was such fun and not too hard as we have a jigsaw puzzle waiting!

Onshore, finally.

looked at it for 15-20 min on Thursday and all I saw was all the posts about how it was too easy.
Picked it up again this morning and got it fairly quickly. Steeling myself for how far down the list of beverages I'll have to go to find one that hasn't yet been depleted by the horde.

Your scribe has been busy keeping track of the contingent getting from the ship to the shore by every means possible. And Isaac has closed the ship's bars and set up multiple bars on the crowded shore.

And we welcome our newest muggles - Steven Silber, and lisajoy

At present we have 218 confirmed on the shore and one on the ship who I think is on the shore but I missed her in the crowd.

Ashore after being away for several weeks. I lost my connection on a road trip with no access to my Muggle routine (paper, quiet space) and, sadly, didn't reconnect when I returned. My lesson learned is to get back to it right away, and don't settle for looking at the solution in the Monday paper and musing "I could have solved that" or, alternatively "huh?". It is good to be back, and it's good to be back.
