Geez. Finally! On the beach.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

A fun trip to shore.
I'm hearing The Fixx, but they haven't totally driven out Paula Abdul from the recent MGWCC.
Long live the 80s.

Who made up the rule that you get a drink only after you solve? Tonight I started with a cocktail, filled out the grid in a pleasant haze (and learned a new word), and solved. I will definitely try this technique again.

Yeah, that's pretty insidious. I'll take "Straight Up" over that any day.
Good luck with that.

I didn't fall into any rabbit holes but while doing the grid I was *certain* something would need to be looked into but it never actually was.

I have reached the beach, just like the Fixx told me.

Count me ashore. Long night drive home, but couldn’t go to sleep until I finished the grid and meta. Now a drink and to bed!

Still with Isaac. So far this one is only leading me down the garden path.

I'll chime in that I'm stuck on the ship. There are some weeks when I see possible mechanisms that turn out to be fruitless - but not this time. I'm not seeing a thing!

Quick swim to the beach once I had a chance to look at this.

MM once again intercepted the ball and ran 99 yards to the one yard line.MaineMarge wrote: Fri Feb 04, 2022 6:05 am Still with Isaac. So far this one is only leading me down the garden path.
