ON SHORE! Figured this one out before starting dinner preparations, but just getting around to posting. I really enjoyed this one - great AHA moment! Now hubby and I are going to watch Casablanca. (I'm ashamed to say that I have never seen this classic!)

Still on the ship. Struggling a bit this week with brain fog. Have tried a lot of different mechanisms, all to no avail. If I can explain the different failures, can anyone give me a nudge? Or maybe I am on the right path but missing something? Oof. Definitely grid-locked right now. Sorry I missed the zoom today.

On shore for the first time in a while. A tequila sunrise awaits a weary soul.

On shore without much trouble, after one little misstep.

I really enjoyed this week's puzzle. Nice level of difficulty, at least for me.

Enjoying my Dutton Chardonnay... just discovered this winery and bought it because, well, Yellowstone.

The show might also be aptly named "Rip," at least for people like me.

(At least, not unless I can say "I'm just two minutes from solving this puzzle...." which... as it turns out I could have said but at the time I didn't know I could say it.)
Is that Wingspan? I bought the PC version around New Year's but haven't tried it out yet....
I played the tabletop version of Wingspan for the first time over the holidays. Really fun game, and a nice option because it plays so quickly.

I think @LadyBird would appreciate it if she isn't already familiar with it.

See the red US off of Boston
See the black outline of an arrow going through Boston from right to left
See the red circle superimposed just above the R in Worcester
See Bob's house in the middle of the red circle
Well now, it appears that when the stom hits you are in the sauce. What sauce? Well Worcester sauce of course....
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.

Yeah, but not on Thursdays!
We got married on a Thursday. If that excuse didn't work then I don't think it'd work now.

(I had submitted an NPR puzzle that week and it occurred to me that if NPR called me it would be *right* in the middle of the it ceremony. I thought about asking her if it'd be okay if I took the call but then realized she wouldn't have the same priorities as I would so I just wouldn't talk about it ahead of time. The universe was not in the mood for making a good story so they never called.)

Still on the boat w/ Mr. Lange (nice shout-out Mr. Gaffney!) discussing wordle strategies and playoff favorites.

Some curious rabbit holes have been discovered that offer promising results, but so far nothing.

“ If you see that I have solved, feel free to PM me, along with what you have done so far, and I'll be happy to nudge you onto the right track.”

The grid. 🤡

I always freeze at number puzzles. Some of the rest of you appear to need snow for that.

I’ll be at the bar for the duration, Bob.

(Got Wordle in 2 today, so there’s that.)

A house fire across the street (actually the response to the fire) woke me up early and I solved it. I’m still scratching my head at one of the clues, but the rest of it fits my expectation so I’m calling myself ashore. Good luck muggles!

Also still on the ship. Unfortunately I missed the zoom session. One night's sleep provided a little insight, but I'm gonna give it another day before I ask for a nudge.

Sitting with Isaac, enjoying a Bloody Mary. I have steps 1 and 2...i think. Been stumped at that point since yesterday afternoon. No golf again this weekend (they cover the greens with tarps to protect them from the freeze), so plenty of time to puzzle on. But frustrating after last week's quick solution.
