Isaac, I'm going to need a few more shots if I'm gonna sink a three-pointer. Lately these metas have left me feeling like MJ during his time with the Wizards...

Got it in the zoom meeting room with a bunch of people who think too hard, like me. It was fun seeing the squirms of those who had solved but were watching us struggle.

In the end, YES it is indeed a S-A-D puzzle! Not submitting… but thanks for the fun, fellow zoomymuggles.

(I still get a drink, right? How about an Irish coffee this chilly January evening?)

PS - somebody needs to create a puzzle using the little shapes we were looking at for a long time getting nowhere. Seems like a great mechanism to me!!

I was shown the solution by someone who got a hint from someone in the Zoom. I would never have gotten this meta, because reasons.

Thanks to all the participants on the Zoom!

Thanks to @Wendy Walker, @BarbaraK, & @DrTom for their muted guidance, which Peter @Abide used to good purpose, leading @KayW (& the rest of us) to the promised land.

That was fun!

I am submitting and - should I win the mug - I'll offer it as the prize for my 1st MMM, which will be completed within 4 weeks of mug arrival.

Oh shoot, I missed the Zoom! (Had to work this morning). Still on the boat, but that's okay, there's still time.

Sorry, I'm fresh out of nudges!
The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

I have completed the grid. Since this is sports-related, it brings back bad memories of being "pageanted!"
Since I'm on page 6, I guess a lot of you have solved already? Hopefully I shall score my 3-pointers this weekend.

It was such a treat witnessing the "a-ha" moment developing on the Zoom call this afternoon! How I love our Muggle community.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

I was just texting my brother (whom I recently introduced to WSJ metas) that I was as stumped as he was, when I had an aha moment!

Fun solve, and I'm on the shore!

It is always fun to get together with other muggles on zoom. You folks amaze me with creative rabbit holes even I could never think of!
As we paddled to shore together, singing old songs, and toasting to another meta solved, I could not help but feel great respect for those who create these puzzles! Cheers!
Don & Cynthia

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

Still on the ship. I see lots of things and nothing at all at the same time. Anyone in the same boat as me? (pun intended) ;)
