Wasn’t feeling optimistic about this one based on the title and prompt. But much to my surprise, I’m on shore.

Just because I found this thread a little confusing on the question, in fact you are looking not for a basketball team, but for a basketball term.

Ashore!

Fun even for one who, like me, doesn’t know much about basketball.

I don't know if that's not worst. I may not know many basketball teams but at least I recognize them when I hear them. A basket-ball term can be any collection of words or letters.
GUAVA is not an anagram of VAGUE and PEPPER is not a palindrome.

I’m on shore after a late start. I think this is a great meta! Enjoying my margarita on the rocks on the beach. The cabana boy has recently discovered Jeopardy! He and I both got final jeopardy wrong, but Amy got it right!

However last week all 3 contestants missed Lennon & McCartney in Final! How is that even possible? That's like, Jeopardy 101.

100% on the beach.

100% on page two.

Sand, meta, margarita.

Jeopardy was preempted here for news updates, so I didn't see it today. I liked it better when a champion was retired after 5 wins. I get tired of the ones who stay on for weeks at a time. Seems like the others just don't have much of a chance.

The Final Jeopardy music goes by really fast when you're on the stage and can't get that first wrong idea out of your head.
