I have been pulled ashore by a combination of Google, Wikipedia and Microsoft Excel. Using my resources, I successfully backed into the answer. Can’t say more without getting into spoiler/nudge territory, but I can explain my method Monday if anyone wants to know. A nice feeling to finish the year in metas.

"Page One" status is more of a thing than I realized at first. Congrats to everyone who gets to the finish line so quickly!

As for me, I truly enjoy the whole solving process and feel a personal sense of accomplishment when I am successful. If it takes me the whole weekend to solve, it's a welcome challenge - either in terms of the level of difficulty or getting my head in the right space - but it's always fun. Too easy is never as satisfying.

The camaraderie of this forum is an added bonus, so thanks for that, to everybody here...

On another note, now that season 2 of Ted Lasso is over (I would give it a hundred thumbs up if I could), and the Yellowstone season finale is this weekend, I'm ready for some streaming recommendations.

I was just going to say “ I agree with this poster” until I realized it’s my daughter ( Regfish7) and we just solved together! Lol
Seriously, I think we got a good answer but I don’t see the “clicking mechanism” but I’m going to submit so we can go out on a boat ride now!

I'm on shore a little late because I didn't think there was a contest this week. I'd thought the WSJ didn't publish today and Mike Miller's last post said "See you in 2022!" I suppose that's true; he won't post until next year.

I also spent some time chasing rabbits until I found the right path.

Edit: Corrected my mistaken belief that there was no paper. I should have realized that they would publish on a trading day although I didn't get the paper at my apartment.

Does the HOA make religious exceptions? The 12th Day of Christmas (January 6th) is the Epiphany (the visit of the three Magi) and the last day of Christmas.

I'm not trying to start a debate & will redact this post, if requested. I'm genuinely interested in how HOAs approach this & other holidays, religious or not. Our good DrTom is president of his HOA.

Well I'm probably not the best to ask because we are fairly easy going on Christmas Decorations. They are often up until the Feast of the Epiphany or later. If they are still up near Mid January we send a subtle reminder. We have never had to get forceful, and that would be a difficult one because our HOA does not have specific "rules" about Christmas Decorations.
