I was sitting at the crowded bar, and Isaac said to me, “Hey, there a lot of folks wanting a drink and I’m a little tired of you saying NEAT over and over.” I graciously left. The other bars were also mobbed, so someone kindly lent me a small hand while I staggered into the tender. I survived that journey somehow, and I am now on shore. No mug, but I’m keeping my shot glass and looking for the cabana boy.

Holy cats, I got it!
If you like Rows Gardens check out my mini ones here: viewforum.php?f=41. Nudges are free on the off chance I’ve solved the meta.

The crowd suggests it's far more hip
To stay with Isaac in the ship
Than crash through surf and coral for
That overrated bar ashore.
I'm in the ship with Isaac too.
I've drunk so much, there's double you.

For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Great, that is like shouting "fire" in a crowded movie theater..........
Everyone at the crowded bar just spilled their drinks!

At this point, I am virtually certain I’m going to go a second week in a row without coming anywhere near to salt in the meta. For those who are lamenting the string of very difficult metas, myself included, I think we should all hearken back to earlier in the year when the meta tutorial was being developed. I seem to recall an awful lot of complaints about a series of too-easy metas. It is now our comeuppance!!!!!
Stay well all.
My W is wine. More please, Isaac!

Definitely still on the ship with this one. Only a couple of rabbit holes that have proven to be very shallow.
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

And, to add to my W advantage in my name, my last name is SHANK. Still no help.Eric Porter wrote: Fri Nov 12, 2021 12:52 pm I know the answer, but won't be submitting because I wouldn't have gotten it on my own. KAS 5, perhaps because there's no 'W' in my name.
I explored one rabbit hole that was better than my other ideas, but nowhere close to a solution. It's not impossible, but you need to think like Shenk!
To everyone who solved it, good luck winning the mug!

I am on the ship without having seen even one rabbit. I was really hoping that if I kept coming back to this the SIMPLE of the SAD acronym would show up. No such luck.
I am trying to get over a virus with a bad cough. My PCR test for COVID was negative but I believe I will skip the bar, stay in my state room and sip on Nyquil nonetheless.

Well, for me it's "SAD, Sad and Discouraged!"Joe Ross wrote: Thu Nov 11, 2021 11:01 pm I've been authorized by other solvers to post this, as we don't consider it to be nudgy:
It's likely that Matt Gaffney would call this puzzle SAD, Simple And Difficult.

I had to be led by the nose to get this one. I feel like I’ve been swimming for hours, and I’ve dragged myself up onto the beach. The cabana boy is crying. I guess he didn’t think I was gonna make it. Where is your faith cabana boy?? And where’s my margarita?

Unfortunately I suspect that this string of difficult ones will drive away those who were attracted by the easy ones...Streroto wrote: Fri Nov 12, 2021 2:59 pm At this point, I am virtually certain I’m going to go a second week in a row without coming anywhere near to salt in the meta. Still at sea, will poke around a bit more before asking for a nudge, but after reading comments, I predict I'll need a strong tow to the beach this week.
If only it was as simple as my Dawgs nudges

On the ship for the second week in a row! I've been doing these for five years, so I'm not sure if I can legitimately blame it on "menopausal brain fog" or "these metas have just been extra hard lately."
