Ashore, despite coming home from a party where I had a bit more Dewar’s than I shoulda, but maybe it helped? Will find out on Monday…

I have what I believe is the answer, but I haven't found the why yet. Glad I'm not the only one in that boat. Going to keep looking for the click
EDIT: There it is! I'm on the shore and can now crack open my beach themed beer Pompeii Beach by Toppling Goliath.

I found a promising (but wrong) path that led me to the right answer, which seemed certain but I couldn’t justify it. Then needed a bit of help to see another similar approach that gave the satisfying click that is so enjoyable.

My thoughts exactly

LAS. The grid fell quickly then….nothing. So I’m getting settled in my usual table in the back corner. It’s nice to see Isaac shining up the glassware and getting ready for the weekend.

Glad to have landed ashore (after some interplanetary disturbance today). Now, where's that Obi-wan character?...

Did mom leave a voicemail?hcbirker wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 9:14 pmMy mom conveniently called me at 12:55 PST today. At least I still made page 1.Wendy Walker wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 8:37 pmWell, basically, I arrange my work, exercise, and gardening schedule so that at 3:58 p.m. every Thursday I am sitting in front of the computer, lucky pen at the ready, hitting "refresh" repeatedly.

I saw it only partially last night.
This morning it was revealed in all its glory.

I don't believe any of you. There is no mechanism and not a single rabbit hole in sight.....

I found the grid to be difficult. There were a couple of holes that I didn't think I was going to get without google, but I eventually did.
I'm going to hang with Isaac for while, just because, and hunt down the meta tomorrow.

On shore. I got a late start today because I was taking care of this little 13-month-old:
Yes, that is a cast on his right leg. We committed a major grandparent faux pas last month. Our daughter and son-in-law entrusted him to us for a weekend and by the time they got home, he had a fractured leg! (Not a complete break, fortunately.) The cast came off a week ago and he's fine now, but still, that's not how the weekend was supposed to turn out. We're still allowed to see him, I'm happy to say.- Gman

Ashore, thanks to another middle of the night loo-cid inspiration.
I really liked this one.
And here’s a plant I’ve *really liked* for a long time. Filipendula rubra, called Queen of the Prairie.
At 6’ tall with her cotton candy blooms, she is for sure the queen in this garden now.

Why would any of us think that??! Have been troubled by not knowing whether refreshing in the same tab or a new tab is more likely to yield a change.Wendy Walker wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 8:37 pmWell, basically, I arrange my work, exercise, and gardening schedule so that at 3:58 p.m. every Thursday I am sitting in front of the computer, lucky pen at the ready, hitting "refresh" repeatedly.

Traveling, in Rittenhouse Square? Welcome to my hood!
Not that anyone in my hood uses the phrase "my hood." That would be SO déclassé! Only the hoi polloi would use it. (Yes, "the" hoi polloi.)
