I am on shore in Ocho Rios, JA where Elsa is making things wet but not too windy.
Planter's Punch with rum is complimentary today, so I'll take one of those.
Cheers!

On shore. Needed a nudge, but now feel stupid for not seeing what was staring me in the face.

On shore with Youngest Copper River leading the swim. Third Copper River also in tow. Happy Fourth to all! On to family reunion next week. It’ll be a group meta effort on Thursday at 10 am.

I'd love a nudge. I have the first step, but I'm stumped again at numbers in parentheses!!

On shore. Really fun meta. Will celebrate beach arrival with a cold PBR and then drink another as a toast to the USA. We aren't perfect but we are the best. Happy 4th of July to all!

I have self diagnosed numerophobia primarily manifested by fear of the number 1040, 666 and any numbers involved in solving a meta. (shouldn't they be 86 'ed once and forever?)
That said a nudge might get me through till next week's hopefully non-numeric meta.
10-4 and thanks in advance.

Hmm. I submitted something, but it’s probably wrong, or I missed a step. Anyone available to confirm?
EDIT: Oh yeah, I came back to it but didn’t look closely enough, I didn’t do anything with the numbers so. Shrug.
Second edit. Ugh I’m a bad person I wandered away after asking for help and now I don’t have my glasses and can’t see.

Wow, obviously a LOT of that going around!SReh26 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 5:43 pmand SReh got it from boharr...sphorning wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 5:37 pm Finally on shore thanks to a huge assist from SReh26. This is one of those KAS 3-4 for me since my brain doesn't think out of the box for that middle step of the meta. I get the first and last steps just fine. My brain never would have thought to do step 2. Happy 4th to all you Muggles!
happy 4th!
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Fairly certain I've made it to shore, although some of you have me feeling unsure. Gonna chalk this one up as a win until proven otherwise though!

I must be in the minority in that I don't mind the numbers. Or, rather, I mildly dislike them for a different reason than most people. (Which I can discuss tomorrow, as this meta is an example of the reason.) The Hints for Solving Meta Contests gives plenty of ideas on how they can be used. Though I always just ignore them until I've figured out the mechanism, or at least step 1 of the mechanism.
For anyone who wants a hint, if you see me, or anyone who has declared that they have solved the puzzle, online, feel free to send a Private Message explaining what you have tried so far, and how much of a nudge you want. Many of us would be happy to offer a "You're hot/cold," or "You're correct but need to continue searching," or "Just try this..." nudge.

This one seemed like a 100%'er to me. Pretty straight-forward, using a not-unfamiliar mechanism (generally).bradisbrad wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 4:05 pm Fairly certain I've made it to shore, although some of you have me feeling unsure. Gonna chalk this one up as a win until proven otherwise though!

I'm at about 99%. Answer makes sense, mechanic makes sense, there was just one little piece that felt off to me.HunterX wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 4:16 pmThis one seemed like a 100%'er to me. Gee, 3 weeks straight on board with Isaac. I've got the start of something
but then, nothing. At least if I don't peek I've got an extra day to solve and give myself a win!
Happy 4th to all!
