Beam me up!
LOL, yeah right. What's interesting about the contest is looking at the data as it trickles in and that gives us an interesting psychological dimension of how people are doing.
I miscalculated - this one would give me my first 10-week streak, but it could be a buzzsaw. Excited to get started - and I've always loved the word "Palimpsest."

I haven't even looked at the puzzle, yet but the title alone suggests quite a challenge...

Where to begin? Two hours in and only 13 correct responses, all by veteran solvers. Could see a big reset on the streak list this week.

My inner anagrammarian tells me that this is past simple. If only my inner numerologist could tell me what those numbers mean.

What is a mere mortal to do?
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

I'm where I often am with the later weeks of the month -- I think I have the pieces that I need to assemble. They even produce words. In one or two cases, 7-letter words. But they're not words that make sense as a solution.

Very nice puzzle. It took awhile, but that’s standard for a week 5.

Beam me up, Scotty.
This seemed easy for a week 5, but I think I just got lucky that the first idea I had worked out.

I think I have _all_ your other ideas then! Finding lots of rabbits, at least.
