A weekly meta crossword on the forum started by member Josh (aka madhatter5). These puzzles are often very creative with solving mechanisms out of the norm and skewing towards the more challenging. Puzzles are posted every Wednesday, and the solution appears the following Tuesday.

Cat moving a little stiff from being on the couch for so long, but she finally stretched and dismounted. She took way longer to figure that one out than my dogwood.

Whoops, I seem to have been nudge remiss....

With a title like "Trees Company" what do you think you should look for in the GRID?

Assuming you find what you are looking for, what is a very common next step?

What was spewed out of Vesuvius that did the most damage?

If I had ELM in the grid (which I did not) and there was also a clue for "Shade provider = Awning" what would you do with that?

The Nature AND Law is simply a homonymic play on words of the meta answer
