"Zip It!" by Peter Gordon
Another one from Peter where (IMO at least) the grid was tougher than the meta. At least it had a clear path to an answer though!

Solved thanks to something I saw external to the puzzle which helped the light bulb illuminate. Will clarify post-deadline

I think I tried this mechanism on a previous meta. Didn’t work then, but today it did.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.
(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

It's a scary thing when an obscure crossword editor is a slam-dunk.
The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

I opened the PDF and that was the first thing I saw. I was like, "At least I got one!"Abide wrote: Thu Mar 27, 2025 8:57 am It's a scary thing when an obscure crossword editor is a slam-dunk.
Out and about but will solve later!
Edit: The meta was cracked well before the grid was close to being finished, haha.
