On shore with a Discord nudge. No submission.

I've been away from the group - and the puzzle - for nearly a year with work and family stuff. I've missed both terribly. Came back last week and spent the week with Isaac wondering why I returned for this torture - LOL.

This weekend seemed like it was going to be more of the same and then while sipping coffee this morning, I finally had the AHA moment and remembered why I loved these puzzles.

Safely on the beach - though it really took me a lot longer than it should have. Definitely out of practice!

I am presently firmly planted at the bar with Isaac. I’ve been looking at this off and on all weekend and I legit have nothing. I’m hoping when I see the answer that it was an I never would’ve gotten that and not a head slapper. We’ll see. In the mean time I’ll have another drink please.

Not a baseball whizz,
But ashore with a gin fizz,
Beach themed, that izz!
One world. One planet. One future.

Would love a nudge on this one and a discord invite! I've asked before but it hasn't worked. Please DM me if you can help with either !

It's been a busy weekend but I have stared at the grid a few times with nothing popping out at me. Heading to another family function so there's a pretty good chance I don't meet up with you guys on the beach this weekend. Maybe next time. :)

On the ship with no beach in sight. I’m reaching out for a nudge.
On a bright note, I got last weeks puzzle with hours to spare but was in a remote area with no cell service. But it was really nice to be “unconnected”!

Have some ideas but nothing leading anywhere. Anyone who wants to throw a nudge in my direction would be appreciated.
Always happy to provide a nudge if I’m ashore.

I am befuddled and embarrassed that I have stared at this grid for 2 days with not so much as a rabbit hole to explore.
If anyone is in the mood for a nudge, I'd be greatful...

Floating at sea, so I threw a screwball toward New York City and will just drift away now.

Our final lineup before Opening Day has 20 on the ship and 145 on the shore.

Good luck to those who entered winning the mug. And have a safe week.

See you on Thursday

Well, going with my first hunch. On shore, and hoping I am not caught in a riptide which takes me back to Isaac.Enjoying a Grenache from Oregon while soothing the burn of losses by SMU, A&M, and Clemson.

On shore on Friday.

On vacation too, so didn’t get around to posting.

I have to admit that it helped that I’m a big fan of baseball history.
