Hanging with Isaac this lovely Saturday afternoon. Several four letter words come to mind but not the one Mike is pointing us to!

Time to walk away for a bit and reboot my thinking.
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.

Finally ashore, if they'll let me in. Dang rabbit holes... what's the saying, "When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging?" Oh, hi... What'll I have? The bar's still open? Sweet! Okay, make mine a Guinness please!

On the ship, bonding with Isaac. Need to dedicate some Sunday time to dig a little deeper -- try to figure this one out.

Ashore with a head slap! That was quite a rabbit hole.

Keeping Isaac's tip jar filled.

Foolishly thought this might be a quick solve whilst filling in the top rows.

Side note, a couple of weeks ago met a real life Dr. Bricker. Couple sat next to us at Friday martinis. He was a doctor and the couple was permanently living aboard cruise ships. Not really Dr. Bricker, because he didn't work for the cruise line. He was a radiologist and read MRIs on the ship. Just in case you didn't think modern medicine was screwed up enough. Does he have malpractice immunity if he's in international waters?

Looking up Doc's name (he was always "Doc" as far as I could remember) brought me to Siegfried, aka Bernie Kopell and a noticed he was in a Hawaii 5-0 episode (the later one) and played an Auschwitz prisoner named Itzhak Rozen in a flashback sequence. So "Doc" became "Isaac. That's the only meta I solved today.

Beat my head against it for a bit, absolutely positive I was on to something but not seeing it. Showed it to my partner and he figured it out in five minutes.

On the beach!
First part of the meta came quickly enough; then what to do with it? That took a little longer.
Healthy swim!
Having a cold beer in the sand!

A beauty. Had dinner last with the only Muggle I know, my college roommate’s husband. There are so few of us. Don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have him to complain with every week.

I'm still at the bar with Isaac. I have what seems like it must be the first step, but I can't get anywhere from there, so I'm beginning to doubt it. Well, I've got all day to stare at it and see if something new pops out.
