Ashore!

I actually got this last night, but just got around to posting now. I got through the grid fine, although there were one or two slog areas. I somehow thought I'd be onto the meta by the time I completed the grid, but not so much. After about 10 minutes of nothing, I was about to put it aside when the AHA came. So, a quick solve for me, but I can surely understand why it could take a while to spot this one.

Cheers to all! 🍻

Ashore!

Hats off to @DBMiller for helping me free myself from two pesky rabbit holes (imagine one foot stuck in each), thus happily avoiding a lot of dead-end time. That means more time for saying:

Cheers Everybody!

I've hardly finished a puzzle in about a month so it was nice to paddle ashore today. That Buffalo Trace hasn't been touched in a while and the way work has been I think I'll have a bit of that.

That required a slight nudge. Well done to those who saw it so quickly! Now for a shot or two of ouzo. :D
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta! :D

Count me at sea. Some weeks you see it and some weeks you don’t. This is one of those weeks,

I'm still at sea for now. But encouraged by the comments, so plan to look back every now and then this weekend, and hope it comes to me in the shower or in my dreams.

I think I got this one... but I gotta think... really?
If you like Rows Gardens check out my mini ones here: viewforum.php?f=41. Nudges are free on the off chance I’ve solved the meta.

Made it ashore this morning. I was guilty of overthinking and being distracted by coincidences, yet again. I was just about to set it down once more when it hit me. Thank you, I’ll have a Moscow mule of some type tonight.

Hi All,
I'm still treading water - with a possible horizon in sight.
Is anyone available for a nudge?

Spinning wheels for us.

If anyone could spare a nudge, we would appreciate it. We have nothing!

Thank you for the nudge. Like others, we were just overcomplicating things. 3rd time looking at the same thing was the charm.

For us, the grid was trickier than the meta. We are not good at people's names. Got the meta quickly, and we are enjoying the beach.

This week's earworm is from The Thomas Crown Affair. About the only movie that I know where the remake is better than the original.

On shore! Definitely went down a few rabbit holes, but got there in the end! A surprising solve.

My apologies to muggle friends who PM'd me last weekend and I was slow to check my messages and respond.

I was busy installing an oak floor in a new extension on the back of our house.

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!
