As the Brits would say, today's ZOOM was the "bee's knee's." The discussion turned lively as we debated whether we were being pageanted as there appears to be a solid arguement for either of 2 answers. Meanwhile, our poor solving strugglers were scratching their heads. In the end, it appeared to be all smiles.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Super fun ZOOM session today!
Is Matt Gaffney another Iago, hiding behind a veil of ambiguity?
"And what's he then that says I play the villain?"
We will find out on Monday. Stay tuned amigos for the reveal. Could be a marketing ploy!

Quite the lively and entertaining Zoom today with plenty of spirited debate! Once I arrived at the dual shore, all of the previously-baffling discussions about which answer is correct made perfect sense. Once someone brought up the possibility of a *third* answer, it was time for me to just commit to one and call it a week. :)

Have a great weekend, and I'll be curious to see the results on Monday!

Well, I came to the site to say that I’m ashore, with a less-than-confident answer, but now that I see the doubts expressed here, I’m gonna stay on the ship and see whether a couple of Issac’s excellent but potent Manhattans clarify things.

Snowing in Indy, expecting 3 inches atop the 8-9 we got a few days ago. Headache for condo association president (me).

On shore with help from zoom. I can sort of see what people mean by a second answer, but I would be shocked if that’s what was intended.

I am on the ship debating between three answers.

Either way, I believe my comment on last week’s puzzle was quite prescient.

Ashore! I think - seemed too quick of a solve for a noob like me that doesn't always figure the meta out. Happy to join the group!

PAGEANT also comes to mind.
I keep seeing references to a pageant response. Would someone please point me to the puzzle or Muggle discussion that generated this mythical Sword of Damacles? Thanks.

Oh, Puzzle Buddy Jane and I are ashore. I'd like a Racer 5 IPA, s'il vous plait.

Is Friday at 1330 too early for an IPA?
It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

Thanks, Heidi! That was before I was introduced to the contest. Kudos to the forum administrators for keeping such interesting history for us relative newbies.

I'm glad to hear you are safe and I hope that will continue to be so.

Okay, I found the other step and see why people are debating between two answers. What’s in a name?
