I'm interested in learning more... I sent you a PM. I had a thought this morning, but seemed too inane to actually pursue. I'm just nervous there doesn't seem to be anything that verifies the obvious solution, so thinking that we're all missing a final step. :)
If you see me on the beach, feel free to pm for a nudge. After all the help I’ve got, I am happy to send it forward when I can!

Wasn't able to start puzzle until today as we were busy on a holiday trip yesterday. But glad to say it was a quick swim to shore this week!

Well that was either a new bike or a piece of coal. It seems like it cannot be much else, but then I've thought that before. Personally I think we are all being just a tad too paranoid, but that is the "once bitten, twice shy" thing. At any rate I submitted and can't take it back so, onward and forward.

Ashore!
I was busy yesterday (new picture). The nasty cold was already setting in before we spent the day outside (so that's not the cause).
Between the two, I only just got to the puzzle, and am happy that it didn't tax my foggy brain too hard.
Bespoke nudges available upon request (if I'm on shore, off the couch, in the castle, petting an un-bagged cat, ...).
Let me know how small or large a hint you want, or hit me with a specific question(s).

The tenders are full bringing muggles to shore. Be sure to tip them well for the work that they do.

So far we have 171 on the shore. Isaac has started taking the year end inventory to get ready for New Year's Eve on the ship and transport the necessary booze to the Tiki Bar on the shore.

Don't forget the 4:30 zoom call today just to check in and say hello to other muggles.

Looking forward to reading about it post-deadline, as is @The XWord Rabbit, I'm sure!

So, is that the bird that I would want at Rick's Café?

It's been so many weeks since I've solved the meta that I forget to post here that I'm ashore. I solved it hours ago!

I feel that it is a 100%er

But that the reason it is a 100%er is a very very bad and invalid one and a legal and valid meta should have a better more "clinchier" reason.

I can't believe I waited to finish the grid before solving... what a breezy ride to shore. Hoping the Muggles both far and wide have a wonderful New Year! Looking forward to spending it in front of a roaring fire and a tray of cocktails. :D
