Ashore after help from the zoom crew! I decided not to submit, although as it happens my would-have-been-Hail-Mary guess turned out to be right. But none of my attempts to back solve worked without the nudge on zoom.

Good evening muggles

our final count is 23 on the ship and 139 on the shore

Have a happy and safe holiday

@Colin Your work looks great. Did you do the gas or have a plumber do it? Gas is about the only thing I don't mess with.

I’ve been asea all weekend but never declared my status.
I’m pleased to report that I am finally ashore! Better late than never. It seems everyone’s gone home and the tiki bar is closed.

@Bob cruise director Thanks. No gas… I wouldn’t mess with that either. It is an electric fire from SimpliFire… umpteen flame and bed color combos including a couple of fairly realistic ones. Glad it looked convincing though! Only 1500W so not a major source of heat, just warms the room aesthetically. I could write a book on the research and design of this apparently simple, but quite complicated, project. But then, everything is relative! ;)

I thought that was you next to me at the bar!

Your finish work is waaay better than mine. Do you do outside work? Asking for a friend...

Once again, needing to look at the clues is my downfall.

Lucy does the same thing with the football, and I always fall for it.

Same here. I stare too much at the grid and don't look carefully back to the clues when I'm stumped.

Palm to forehead! It's another can't-believe-I-didn't-see-that weeks.

Merry Christmas, Muggles all.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

‘Fraid not. I’ve found that I’m the only one willing to pay my outrageous rates and put up with my blue language every time something is out by 1/64th :geek:

Darn! Again a very clever one I'm sorry I didn't get. I should've spent more time looking at it.

I went down a rabbit hole that I spent too much time on - I was searching for alternate answers that had the word "Santa" in it.

The only one I could wrangle out was "Santa Maria" in place of "Nina"

Fun one! I just didn't see it in time. Maybe all this holiday revelry has me slow on the draw or otherwise distracted :)
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and blessings to all!
