Done. It's brilliant. We have bruises on our foreheads from banging our heads on the wall, but the wall had nothing to say. Luckily, we figured it out anyway.

Quite the clever construction. Had me stumped though I had the start. It was what was next that kept me passing time with Isaac. A nudge from Don was all it took to get me to the beach.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend.

Grid done early; but time to study it didn’t happen until after college football completed 😁 Had several ideas come up with what the title meant then BOOM it all came together. Great puzzle Mike Shenk.

AHA!
Ashore! I rushed it yesterday and missed a detail that my husband noticed this morning. Thank goodness for another day!

Late start but safely ashore this morning at breakfast. "No way you took that route Mike Shenk" was my first thought as I started solving it. Masterpiece.

Well, The Smarter Half of Team Canuck is ashore, and she's waving her dry martini at me as I gag on salt water in the surf. She says I'm on the right track, but she insists I get ashore on my own. And here I thought there was no "I" in "team." Were she a little younger, I'd stop her allowance. The brat.

Is (gulp-gak!) aac!
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Ashore! Didn’t get to the puzzle until today (a three day golf tournament took up my time and energy), fortunately I saw what was happening right away and it was a quick solve. As everyone has noted in their comments, the construction of this one is quite wonderful!!!

Finally ashore with some focusing help from @ship4u. Don also pointed out a funny typo I made, which caused a "Five-Alarm" problem, which I'll explain after the reveal.

Another hot tea for me, uncaffeinated (at war with insomnia the past week).

Indeed, it is always something.
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.

Got a little push to help me to shore. Kinda miffed at myself for not seeing this right away. Oh well - back to decking my halls!

Ashore yesterday. Celebrated with some fine reds from my neighbor's cellar at their Christmas party.
