I just can't resist saying it yet again--I love Mike Shenk puzzles. Even if it's a meta, a crossword remains a word puzzle. I mean, even a sports ignoramus like me was able solve this...and without googling. Or maybe, it's just because I seem to have an pleasier time with his puzzles. Whatever the reason, I had a pleasant time with this puzzle
