I have worked on every WSJ Crossword Contest since the start and I've done an analysis. I've been correct on 85% of the 468 puzzles (sometimes with help from family members). I enjoyed this week's contest.

99% certain I'm ashore. Or, deep down a rabbit hole.

I'm sure WSJ will use it as an excuse not to send me the mug.

On shore thanks to the Zoom meeting. I need to remember to think like a 5-year-old.

After about 20 hours, the rain from Helene finally stopped in Nashville. It's only rained a few inches, but more is coming.

On the beach at Waikiki
Thanks to Zoom room crew and Wendy for smooth sailing.
Now, back to Kullback-Leibler divergence aka relative entropy which has had me preoccupied. Oh well, it was nice to be on the beach for a while.
Aloha!

Slow synapses today for me.. thanks for all the nudges, Zoomers! Otherwise I'd definitely be spending all weekend with our friend in the grid (which actually doesn't sound all that bad to me). Cheers and stay safe to anyone in the Southeast!

Great to see everyone on the Friday Zoom, the highlight of the week! Have a great weekend everyone and all the best wishes for those in the path of the storm!

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

On the shore thanks to my zoom friends. Now back to bed and Advil. It's times like this I wonder if the vaccines are worth it but then I hear Don's story and decide a couple of achy days is a better option!
