When deleting a post, please opt to delete it permanently.

REASON: Posts deleted temporarily hold a Post #, then are deleted by moderators. Many muggles refer to posts by their number (which they should not do, see below). When posts are subsequently deleted, those numbers no longer correspond correctly.


When referring to a post, please create a link to the post as opposed to referring to it by its #.

REASON: Posts are deleted from time to time and almost always by the original posters. When deleted, subsequent posts' numbers are changed. Links are adjusted accordingly & will always refer to the correct post.

Also, providing a link to a post of interest makes it much easier for muggles to read the post with a simple click. Referring to a post by # puts an unnecessary burden on subsequent muggles to look up the post.
