MEOW #190 Fill In the Blanks
I would give it a Calico/Persian rating, but finally there is one of mine that the answer is NOT inferred. You will be able to find the meta spelled out.
Kitten
*Calico
*Persian
Puma
Lion
What may be different this week is the keeping of the "scoreboard" and the reveal. I will be going away on the Sunday (21st) so I may not be as responsive on the forum (I am not a "phone" person) and the reveal for this one, and the posting of next week's is going to be handled by @Joe Ross who very kindly offered his hand.
At any rate, I hope you all like this one. We are approaching 200 MEOW's, but I have not done all 200 of them of course so there will be a while before I can claim any big numbers.

Debagged the feline! Drew a blank for a bit there tho, but finally filled it. Fun one, Dr T!

Cat is free!
I'm trying to decide on my favorite clue from this week's puzzle and it's a toss-up among 36D, 50A, and of course 36A.

I don't have anything clever to say, but if I did, it would go here.

Cat has been set free. Thanks for the puzzle, Dr. Tom! And clearly, 36A is the best clue/answer.

Cat's out - very fun, Dr. Tom - I was just about to set it aside when I realized what to do.

A clever and atypically not-many-puns entry from Dr. Tom! (Did appreciate 5D! - ha!). Great challenge!

Cat's free! This puzzle is very clever.
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

Clever indeed. It took me a moment to realize that my first idea was not going to st the cat free. But on second thought. . . .

Pretty darn good for the first day and a lot of positive comments; still I guess I am going to have to punp up the volume if people think I am slipping....
