Got to zoom too late, a nudge would be nice, as nothing is. Jumping out at me.

Ashore.

Good Saturday morning muggles

First a huge thanks to all muggles, spouses of muggles, relatives of muggles and friends of muggles who have served their country in the military.

And we have two new muggles @themostcross and @artfan. Always great to have more muggles. And if you need a nudge please feel free to PM someone who is on the shore. They are more than willing to help. And then there are the zoom sessions on Friday at 4:30 pm and Sunday at 8 pm

So far we have 9 on the ship and 130 on the shore.

On the ship are:

On shore at last! A second (or maybe third) look today allowed me to see what I didn't see before.

If you link the solution back to the puzzle name COMPLETELY, I think it will make more sense. And not just link it partially. I was a little unsatisfied at first too. But not after adding that one little bit more.
Thanks for this! I had it, but your explanation makes it more clever.

Does anyone think people might get "pageanted" with this one?

I sure hope not. If that’s in play, then the Meta is not as simple as I thought.

Onshore, posting from the Guatemala City airport where we’re waiting for our return flight to the US. The airport provides pretty good wifi, unlike our hotel in La Antigua where we stayed the last couple of nights.

Floating, floating, floating away . . . . Not likely to get this one, and no good ideas for a WAG. Not solving will especially annoy me as it is a Patrick Berry puzzle and I really like his stuff (he has a "Rows Garden" puzzle in today's WSJ).

How does one go about joining this Discord? I have a Discord account but have never used it so I don't really know how it works.

While still recovering from last week’s puzzle, we had an A-OK time with this grid and meta, e-mailed it in this afternoon, and will have some V-no for dinner this evening. :-)

Happy solving and have a safe Memorial Day weekend.
