While waiting for the Zoom call to start and @DBMiller was telling a great story, i kept looking over my grid. Looking at it, while not stressing over it was what I needed and I found the right way. So, thanks DB! Happily ashore.

Jane has been ashore since Thursday and I arrived today after a week at Lake Tahoe, where I did NOT sit at the shore. I agree with those who have commented on the imagination required to create such a puzzle! Coronas all around!!!
I prefer my kale with a silent K.
