Finally, I CAn report that I am ashore--after three weeks of dashed hoPES. I was in the waiting room for a medical appointment and was kind of wishing they would be running late as I was just sTARting to see the metanism. And then they called my name.
So I sLIpped the puzzle into my purse and went back. But I managed to finish while stuck waitiNG in a traffic jam on the way home.

I assume you mean the congruence of metanism and answer. I hope everyone else sees it.

Ashore!
I’ve been giving the metas short shrift recently, but this one kind of jumped out at me.

Ashore! Got to a late start after driving back from Colorado Springs this afternoon. Me and the fam spent the week down there - was our first vacation as a family of 4. Nothing like a walk through the Garden of the Gods to clear the mind before the weekly meta. Discovered a new Italian wine variety last night - Montepulciano. I remembered I liked it last night prior to the Grappa, so going to open this bottle and have a glass!
Cheers everyone!

The past few weeks have so accustomed me to breaking my brain that I feel like I must be missing something. So, I'm going to wait before sending in an answer.
In the meantime, color me ashore.

For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Exceedingly quick swim to shore more as soon as I finished the grid. This is my kind of puzzle!

Very cute meta-ism! On shore. The grid was a bit more of a challenge for us...

Ashore. No nice boat-loafing for me this week. Just beach-dozing.

Ashore! Beer me!

That's what I said (after a late start), too.
