is it just me or is this something funky going on with generating a .puz or .jpz version of today's Meta. 🤔

Same here. I usually download from Fleeting Image. Today, it downloads a .puz file, but when I try to open it, I get a a blank screen that then quickly closes.

I just tried - the .puz works for me. Maybe it was still "under construction" when you tried?

Solved and ashore! I got to the beach before I figured out why. That hasn’t happened to me in a while.

Ashore (after my usual late start and a long period of dog-paddling in circles) … .

I couldn't open the .puz either. I also can't solve the meta.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

You made me smile HeadinHome as I used the same words (verbatim and ad nauseam) over the past couple of months. I work in Tech consulting for banks for one of the big 4 and we are building interfaces (or APIs for any other techies out there) for an asset leasing app named Stucky (named after his owner Richard Stucky who made a fortune out of it). Often at 2 am as I burn the midnight oil I repeat those same words.
Apologies to people who were trying to get to page 2 and were inadvertently bumped by my digressing post.
