Ack! (side eye at BK)
On the boat with my BFF Isaac.
Terribly difficult grid, and contest same vibes.
I have 3 days to let this percolate into a solve. :)

On shore! Filling out the grid seemed almost harder than figuring out the meta. It definitely helped to have done a lot of metas and seen this pattern before. Still fun to do. Tight answer! H wants a Raspberry Lime Rickey, and J will have a Frozen Matcha Latte.

After a two week dry spell, I do believe I am ashore!
Oh, wait. That means I have time for raking the outside beds, pulling the sidewalk weeds, dusting the furniture…
Gee, thanks Matt!😕!

Huh? BK? Me? What did I do?
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

What a fun one. I even enjoyed the rabbit holes and I LOVED the aha moment. Crowded group ashore. I'll get a drink later on. Have a wonderful weekend everyone

On the beach after a crazy rabbit hole journey. Excellent puzzle Mr. Gaffney!
If I’ve solved and you need a nudge, you can PM me. Happy to pay it forward. ;)

Came ashore this morning after floating around a bit overnight. Now to brew (and drink!) some beer.

Let me add a fun fact: The reason I knew the answer to 52D is because I'm actually in the movie.

I hope it's not a spoiler...
I have so many questions! I can’t join the Tuesday zooms until summertime, so if you join Tues. night I’ll miss it. The cast lists just 7 people; are you one of them? If not, and I watch it, how do I spot you?

I’ve never seen this film but it sounds intriguing. I watched the the series “The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem” and enjoyed it — made me do some background reading about the time period (we were just in Israel last fall for 2 weeks).
The other Wendy.

I think this is the quickest I've ever made it to shore.

Also celebrating 50 days sober today, so I'll relax here on the beach with a virgin rum and Coke.

Early morning swim to shore! I’ll save my Jameson & gingerale for tonight!
Good luck muggles!
Thanks to all the muggles in this group. Participating is the highlight of the week!

This blog was useful in identifying that the answer must be found by a mechanism, not guessed by extrapolation or speculation.

I’m too busy at the moment so spending the week on the barstool. Saving time if not grief, maybe both.
