On shore after getting a late start to the puzzle. This one was fun for me given the last few weeks.

Wow. Lots of people getting the meta quickly, so it’s probably not very complex, but I’ve been staring at the grid, the clues, the title, the prompt and I’m seeing nothing

Edit: Figured it out. I had been really overthinking it

AND good luck to awesome Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Final Four! ESPN, Friday 9:30 pm (ET)
Clark's is a great shooter and passer, a real Hawkeye. Hope to see another outstanding performance.

It jumps at you. There is one thing to think though.

On a roll! If this rain ever stops in California I'll hit the beach! Until then, cocktail time.

On the shore. Was trying way too hard. Put it down, had an ice cream sandwich and voila!
Good thing too. Family visiting this weekend.
Good luck on the solve, fellow muggles.

Ashore. I was fooled initially and fiddled with that for a while. Then I had to go shopping and put the effort aside. This is where my brain and I parted company. I paused the effort and moved on, but my brain continued to assess the situation, in the background so to speak. While I shopped, it nudged me into the different perspective. Hmmm. Armed with that, I took a look at the page when I got home, and whoosh! Honestly, I sometimes feel my brain has a mind of its own. (The feeling is probably mutual.) In any event, this is a great meta, including a very enjoyable grid.
