On shore after getting a late start to the puzzle. This one was fun for me given the last few weeks.

Wow. Lots of people getting the meta quickly, so it’s probably not very complex, but I’ve been staring at the grid, the clues, the title, the prompt and I’m seeing nothing
Edit: Figured it out. I had been really overthinking it

On shore - after a sandwich
Clark's is a great shooter and passer, a real Hawkeye. Hope to see another outstanding performance.mkmf wrote: Thu Mar 30, 2023 6:03 pm On shore! Well made puzzle, good one to share with the meta curious.

Okay, that one was so easy I didn't even have to take a screenshot, highlight possibilities, open a text document and type out notes, etc. Ashore! Beer and bourbon me! Oh wait...I already did bwah

GUAVA is not an anagram of VAGUE and PEPPER is not a palindrome.

On a roll! If this rain ever stops in California I'll hit the beach! Until then, cocktail time.

On the shore. Was trying way too hard. Put it down, had an ice cream sandwich and voila!
Good thing too. Family visiting this weekend.
Good luck on the solve, fellow muggles.

Ashore after once again trying to look for more steps than required. Goldschläger tonight!

Ashore. I was fooled initially and fiddled with that for a while. Then I had to go shopping and put the effort aside. This is where my brain and I parted company. I paused the effort and moved on, but my brain continued to assess the situation, in the background so to speak. While I shopped, it nudged me into the different perspective. Hmmm. Armed with that, I took a look at the page when I got home, and whoosh! Honestly, I sometimes feel my brain has a mind of its own. (The feeling is probably mutual.) In any event, this is a great meta, including a very enjoyable grid.
