A marriage of two things I really like in the meta. Nice construction.
Now, to face New York City on St. Patrick's Day.

Ashore. Been a long time since I've posted, but that one fell quickly.

*sigh* I'm on shore. After a nudge. That I shouldn't have needed.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

On shore. I felt the grid was way harder than the meta, which took about 2 minutes…

Ode to My Favourite Movie

Without a word (his thirst inflamed),
Chugged Guinness from a can
And promptly left. The crowd exclaimed,
"There goes The Quiet Man!"

For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

I actually spent two semesters officially on the faculty (what a joke) not too many years post-Bradley, so I was rooting for them but foolishly didn't take the money line.

Finally ashore, but was towed pretty much all the way by @Joe. Won't be submitting. Even the [banned word] metas can sometimes trip you up.

REMINDER: Today at 4:30 pm Eastern Time we will have our usual Friday Muggle Zoom. All are invited and the wearing of the green, while encouraged, of course, is not required! Rumor has it that we may be visited by a few leprechauns, so, you won't want to miss it! I look forward to seeing everyone!

To join in, click on the Muggle Zoom Room tab at the top of the page. Cheers! And, Slainte!
Don & Cynthia

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

On shore. Saint Patrick's Day is so popular in this part of Pennsylvania Dutch Pennsylvania, that to celebrate, we had to take the only available reservation at our favorite restaurant : 4:30!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day muggles.

A fun challenge from Mike O'Shenk today.

And a welcome to our newest muggle lxp. always great to have more muggles

Currently we have 2 on the ship with many others scurrying around and 97 on the shore

and for those fretting about your NCAA brackets being busted, ESPN had more than 20 million entries on their web site. After just one day, there are only 658 brackets intact. And I have to believe that most are alumni of Princeton (who else would pick a 15 over a 2?) and Furman (or a 13 over a 4) among the other minor upsets.

Well, count me on shore, I guess.

Too early today to start drinking as I have a MGWCC to try and solve (though sometimes liquid courage helps one see the light on his harder metas)
