I wonder how many people are going to submit the wrong thing, despite Matt being very clear about what he wants.
I think I'm ashore? But the instructions are not 100% clear to me, I interpreted them one way, found a weak answer, then interpreted another way and found a stronger but still unsure answer. I don't see many people saying they are unsure, so I'm hoping my doubts just come from having a first interpretation that was uncommon.

Finished the grid last night and went down a rabbit hole. Woke up this morning and it was the first thing I saw. I'm on shore!

On the beach early this morning, but just getting around to posting. Was it just me, or was this grid tougher than average? Lots of proper names I didn't know.

I'm on a beach. Hope it's the correct one. I know what to do, but feel like getting there wasn't as clean as i'd like. But there are no alternatives that i find. So i've committed to my answer, and am going to resist anymore second guessing. Maybe.

Printed out the puzzle this a.m. and had a quick swim to shore. Needed a morale boost before end of year!

I am ashore. I think an argument can be made for two possible answers, but applying SAT rules, I think one stands out more.

Ashore!

Took longer than it needed to, perhaps because we needed to really understand what the instructions were telling us. But toes in the warm sand and umbrella drinks to enjoy the weekend (no more need be said!)

Relatively happy I'm on shore. Will try and dive into the Zoom room later to double-check and see everyone, though.

That took longer than I’d like to admit. Now I see it and I’m on shore!
