Ashore after a busy couple weekends where I didn't get to it. A nice easy one to get me back up to speed. Cheers!

Must be all the baseball my husband is watching. Solved in record time. Always nice to see Vermeer in a grid.

On the shore if that’s what you say when you get it, less than an hour . I’ve tried before today before registering but never got one , apparently this one was a bloop single compared to normal

late Thursday night, led to a late Friday morning....woke up to the realization that most everyone left....fortunately a quick trip to shore to hang with everyone..... it's a bit cold today, so going with a dram of Laphroig to warm up a bit.

Fun ride to the shore. Was making this a little harder than needed at first. Celebrating with a cold and refreshing margarita.

Finally on shore. I was beginning to think that I had downloaded the wrong puzzle!

Who knew that I could make up so many variations of what turned out to be the correct mechanism?

I was 58A so many times that I was starting to wonder if I would be able to stand up to a 15A.

Very impressive construction.

Busy time of the semester meant I didn't even get to the grid until right before bed last night. Didn't see it instantly (though in retrospect I was instantly focused on the right general idea). This morning only took a minute or two before it hit me.

Think we need to set up a satellite bar on the beach. One could get thirsty waiting in this line.

ETA: in case cntrl-F for the magic words is part of the tally process: on shore.

Printed it off this AM, quick trip through the grid then the second iteration of the mechanism I suspected was right. So on shore for a change without help. The Pun of a Kind I think I know how to solve but can't, the MOAT I am still struggling with - thankfully the MG did not drop. Still working on some of my own as well...
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.
