"Bread Boxes"
Hi all!
Today's MMM is by me! I suspect this will play a bit difficult, although I have confirmation it's not impossible. Probably a week 4. But hopefully you all enjoy it! I'll post hints on Wednesday.
Thanks to Peter Gordon for his feedback on a very early version of this puzzle. And thank to @AnswerPfinder, @Abide, and @Al Sisti for test solving. And of course many thanks to @Joe Ross for the nicely formatted PDF and spreadsheet linked below.
Happy solving!

Well, I'm 2/6, 2/6, 1/6 and 1/6 of the way there. That adds up to 6/6 which should add to ALL but seems to be not at all.
EDIT: Got it. Simple concept but subtle execution.
Easy to oversqueeze if you gloves are teenage rather than kid.

My Entry to the May 2024 CrossHare Midi Contest
Not a meta, but, yeesh!, that was tough to create.

Thankfully I got one of those inspired, "Hmmms" while solving which turned out to be the right thing and, after one wrong turn, I managed to find my way off the couch without level 4 angst. Thanks Emma.

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Off the couch! But we're so bad at these that we figure I t can't really be harder than a 2.5.

(If you solved recently and your name is not on here, don't worry, Crosshare just sometimes updates slowly. You'll be on the list tomorrow.)
Some have suggested that the difficulty level may in fact be closer to a week 2.5, which I'm happy to concede, so don't let my original post estimating it at a week 4 put you off. In my defense, of the four people who solved this puzzle or a slightly earlier version of it, only one person successfully got to the answer without any hints.

Off the couch! Thanks for the fun puzzle @damefox!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Off the couch! I don't do MGWCC, but given my track record on these MMMs, it doesn't feel like a week 4.
This one had an obvious place to start, I only had to figure out the mechanism.

Same! Two unfruitful rabbit-holes, and given Emma thought it was a week 4, I hit the pause button. Restarting the hunt…HeadinHome wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2023 9:15 pm I’ll take a nudge… thought I had the trail twice, but dead ends
Oh! And an unsolicited PSA for Emma’s benefit: hers and Will’s podcast conversation with the esteemed MikeyG was a very cool listen. There’s quite the handful of IQ pts in that trio!
