Rows 1 and 2 last to go in. Basically worked from the bottom up as it turns out.
Didn’t know that about the statuette with the sword.

I’m like the cat - when our routine is disrupted, we just feel out of sorts. I’ve gotten in the habit of doing every variety puzzle this year, and look forward to Friday @4:00 almost as much as Thursday @4:00 for the meta!

Agree. The Saturday WSJ variety puzzle is a highlight of my puzzling week.
