I wish there were some digits in parentheses so that I would know where to start.
Keep looking. I tried several things before the path became obvious.

My sentiments exactly. 🤐 More, post-deadline.

I am also at a loss. I have three current possible lines to follow - but no idea what to do with them.

ETA: I am still hammering away at this. Anyone want to work together? PM me :)

I'm now on the leaderboard.

I sent MamaE a PM. We'd gone down many of the same rabbit holes, but something she said made me look back at at one I didn't fully explore earlier.

It's not the first time this has happened to me, but it's always frustrating to have been so close but not realize it.

Now I just need to make sure I figure it out too! LOL

Seriously, think I have it, but gonna mull overnight.

ETA: I didn't have it, but a slight course correction by @Eric Porter helped me to see what was staring me right in the face. On the board - nice puzzle!!

This one drove me crazy. I got deeply enmeshed in a rabbit hole of a semi-plausible answer, but Wendy Walker kindly told me to look elsewhere. It turned out that one of the first things that I had looked at, I had not looked at quite deeply and thoroughly enough. I literally woke up in the middle of the night thinking about this, and pushed on that thread a bit harder, and it finally came to me. Maybe now I can finally go back to sleep ;)

Wow, this month's offering was an uphill climb but I finally reached the summit with just two hours to spare after evading an attractive shortcut that was a trap. (And no nudges.)

On the board, with a little help. Thanks, @Eric Porter and @Wendy Walker for just giving enough of a nudge so I could still feel like I earned the AHA! moment. This one was so clever.

This was a very fast swim to the shore for me. One of those metas where familiarity with the constructor's previous puzzles pays off immediately.

Such an elegant construction. Have younger solvers heard of her?

I really have that “Have You Never Been Mellow” stuck in my mind!!

Oh well. Happy that I achieved my secondary goal of making it into the Groaners section of the write-up! (with a different song).
